Enigmas platónicos y herramientas meinongianas

Resumen

El objetivo de este trabajo es mostrar que las herramientas y teorías meinongianas contemporáneas pueden utilizarse para abordar los enigmas platónicos del no ser formulados en el Sofista. En primer lugar, (i) se reconstruyen las tres aporías relativas al no ser, atendiendo al modo en que el Extranjero Eleático las introduce y desarrolla, en particular el problema de la posibilidad de decir o expresar aquello que no es. En segundo lugar, (ii) se presenta de manera sucinta el panorama de las tres principales corrientes del neo-meinongianismo —la Nuclear, la de la Doble-Cópula y la Modal; a continuación, (iii) se muestra cómo estas tres perspectivas meinongianas permiten ofrecer respuestas sistemáticas a las aporías platónicas. Por último, (iv) se extraen algunas conclusiones generales, especialmente en lo que concierne al papel que el trabajo en historia de la filosofía puede desempeñar en la práctica de la filosofía analítica.
